We have a vision of the future.
A vision of a world where people everywhere can access the energy they need to improve their quality of life.
The future inspires us. What will happen? What will people need?
We turn on the promise of a new day by designing the future of energy.
With the energy market and our business environment facing a turning point, we felt the need to re-envision the future of our society comprehensively, discuss where we want to be and how to get there. Members from various divisions, executives and employees, brought their insights and passions together to work on this inspiring task.
What will happen? What will people need in 2030 and 2040? We discussed what our future would look like not only from the technology point of view, but also from the perspective of our customers, including all the people that use electricity, and from that of business.
The future we aspire to see is "the world where people everywhere can access the energy they need to improve their quality of life". To realize such a world, we aim to become a company that "design the future of energy". What are the values and priorities we should all share to be a designer of the energy?
We all agreed that Smart x Sustainable x Profitable should be our guidelines to follow.
Unceasing technology innovations and increasingly diverse customer needs create new business frameworks. Refinements to our technological capabilities for producing, transmitting, storing and making efficient use of energy will bring about major advances in society.
Resources are finite, the environment in our care. We will bring sustainability to the economy, society and culture. We listen to people, understand regional needs, and fulfill our responsibilities by helping to overcome challenges our world faces.
We track changes in the social environment and create the value we need in the world of the future. We continue to grow in partnership with our stakeholders, and to return value to the society that nurtures us all.
